Yet across Africa, millions of learners are still excluded, not because they lack talent or ambition, but because they lack access to technology that is truly fit for purpose. Too often, the conversation has focused on providing any device, rather than providing the right device.
E.Y.E Foundation Africa was founded to change that. Born from a simple but powerful belief that education is the greatest equaliser, the Foundation exists to bridge Africa's digital divide by making high-quality, relevant technology accessible to learners, students, educators and communities.
That belief drove the design of a purpose-built education device, the hardware layer of the platform, engineered specifically for African learning environments and standardised so governments, institutions and capital partners can plan around it at scale.
But the platform is not the device. Sustainable impact requires sustainable financing. Our revolving capital model blends concessional, catalytic and commercial capital so families and institutions can access technology through affordable payments. Every repayment recycles into the pool, funding the next learner, and the next.
Working alongside governments, schools, universities, development agencies, corporate partners and community organisations, we are building an ecosystem where education, technology and opportunity reinforce one another.
